Not getting any problems with Norsca. Instant build/recruit/research, moiney and inf population work fine too even with mods enabled. I tend to select my capital then alt-tab before I apply the cheats though.

I've never had a good experience with McAfee in any capacity. AVG, which I consider to be brilliant never gives me any problems on Firefox or IE. Add the program to your exceptions list, it'll be somewhere in a 'virus vault' or similar such location within your McAfee interface.
